Dominick Mendoza
Dominick Mendoza joined BB&W as a Regulatory Specialist in 2025, having served as a law clerk for several months prior. In this role, he supports the firm’s regulatory and energy law practice by conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and briefs, and preparing detailed analysis of regulatory filings.
Dominick is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he is enrolled in the evening program and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the University of the Pacific Law Review. He previously served as a Greensheets Staff Writer and a Comment Staff Writer for the journal. His academic achievements include earning the CALI Excellence Award in Global Lawyering Skills (GLS) II and receiving a Pacific Law Scholarship. Dominick is also a Certified Law Student with McGeorge’s Homeless Advocacy Clinic, where he managed clients, drafted motions, and advocated on behalf of clients in court.
Prior to law school, Dominick earned a Bachelor or Science in Political Science with a minor in History from the University of Oregon. In his free time, Dominick enjoys hiking, traveling, watching sports, and hanging out with his fiancée and two cats.
